Our Story
Hey everyone, welcome to Gentle House. For a quick introduction, Gentle House was started for my wife and kids. Our son Jack has it the worst — it seemed like everything would irritate his skin. We didn’t feel it was right to be applying medical or steroid cream daily.
We wanted a daily moisturizer that was more natural, and something we could trust was safe for everyday use. We tried many samples — some made it worse, some just didn’t feel good on our skin. We ended up finding a great mixture that helps reduce flare-ups.
I’m a firm believer in tallow for skincare, but many versions out there contain ingredients like calendula, olive oil, and honey — helpful to some, but still causing irritation for many people. There are many options out there, but I haven’t seen any with ingredients like ours. We didn’t choose to blend in like the rest — we carefully picked and excluded exactly what we needed in our tallow.
